Yoga: The Ancient Science and Technology of Well-Being
Slow or Mindful Yoga is an amazing practice for stressed-out nervous systems. This is a practice for all bodies and all levels. Its aim is to quiet the nervous system activating our parasympathetic nervous system, allowing the body the opportunity to shift into rest and digest mode. Unfortunately, too often in our busy modern world, our nervous systems remain in a constant state of flight or fight response. Flooding our nervous system with constant supply cortisol, always feeding DIS-ease and never allowing the body to align with its own natural state of healing.
Slow or Mindful Yoga originates from the practice of Classical Tantra/Hatha Yoga an ancient system which stems from a deep understanding of the mechanics of the body and uses yogic postures, or yogasanas, pranayama (breath control ) and meditation to enable the system to sustain higher dimensions of energy. Subtle Yoga Therapy combines the science of Hatha/Tantra along with Mantra and Ayurveda creating an individualized program which considers your unique being. Targeting imbalances in your Chakra, Dosha and other Subtle Energies, through a comprehensive intake and intuitive reading, providing you with a personalized 'Yoga Prescription'.

Certified Health Coach, Slow Yoga Instructor and Energy Intuitive
Hi, I'm Lisa, I’ve been a seeker and teacher for over 25 years now. I’m a certified Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York with continuing studies from Monash University. I’m also an Advanced 500 hour Certified Classical Yoga Teacher as well as a Reiki Master and Energy Intuitive. But really, the best reason as to what qualifies me to help you is that I’ve been there. I get it! I mean I REALLY get it. I’ve experienced a lot of health and wellness challenges which I refer to as ‘My Great Teachers’ and so, what others might call disabilities I have used as opportunities for learning, growth and opportunity.
As an energy intuitive, I’ve also experienced the world a little differently than others and experience insight into the deeper connections between us and our place in the Universe. Though a deep practice of Yoga and other various wisdom traditions combined with traditional education and empowered with dharma and the spirit of seva (service to others) and community it is my hope that I may be of service to those who are a seeking a connection to Self and abundant Health & Wellbeing along with a deeper understanding and knowledge of the Truth that resides in us all.
